About Stora Ekeberg

Stora Ekeberg Hostel and RV Park offers a charming stay in a historic and scenic area. Located about 6 km from Skara and 20 km from Skövde, this former sanatorium is a unique place currently undergoing an exciting renovation to reach its goal of over 150 rooms. At present, around 80 rooms are available for rent, accommodating 1-6 people per room—perfect for solo travelers, families, and groups.

 

For those seeking extra comfort, we also offer four spacious mobile homes, each 37 sqm, accommodating up to six people. These accommodations are modern and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay close to nature.

 

At Stora Ekeberg Hostel, we always include a duvet, pillow, bed linen, towels, and final cleaning, so you don’t have to worry about these details.

 

We also have RV and caravan parking spots, with 20 spaces equipped with electricity. In addition to these, there is plenty of space in our green area for those who do not require electricity.
